Firm History
Kopperud Hamilton Beyer has been providing legal services for over forty years to members of the Blue Mountain, Meaford and south Georgian Bay communities from its offices located in Meaford and Thornbury. The firm was originally established in 1975 by Norman Kopperud, and in 2005 Norman turned the firm over to the competent hands of Robert J. Hamilton, who ran the firm until his death in 2018. H. Paul Beyer joined the firm in 2015, and in 2018 he assumed full responsibility of the firm.
Adjusting to the Times
During the firm’s long history, it has witnessed first-hand the changes in the area’s traditional agricultural, commercial and industrial sectors, the arrival of new, non-traditional businesses and activities, and the transition of the area into one of Ontario’s premier retirement, recreation and tourist destinations. We pride ourselves on adjusting to the times and continuing to provide leading quality legal assistance to individuals and businesses throughout the communities we serve while retaining our approachable and welcoming small-town attitude.
